What it is

Nano Banana 2 is Google's balanced image generation model, powered by Gemini 3.1 Flash Image (Preview). It sits between Nano Banana (fastest, powered by Gemini 2.5 Flash Image) and Nano Banana Pro (highest quality, powered by Gemini 3 Pro Image) in terms of quality and speed. On PlugNode, select it from the Image node dropdown for text-to-image, image editing, and multi-reference composition.
