On PlugNode, GPT Image 2 is available as a model option on the Image node. Select it from the dropdown, write a prompt, and the node returns the generated image. It handles both generation and editing: pass a reference image with instructions and the model modifies accordingly. What GPT Image 2 does well

The tradeoff: GPT Image 2 handles text rendering and complex instructions better. Nano Banana is faster and cheaper for high-volume work where in-image text is not critical.
