What it is

Grok Image is xAI's image generation model. The Image node on PlugNode offers two variants: Grok Image for fast generation and Grok Image Quality for higher fidelity output. Select from the dropdown, write a prompt, and the node returns the generated image. Chain with Grok 4.3 for AI-written prompts or feed the output into video nodes.

Fast vs Quality tiers

Grok Image generates quickly and is good for iteration. Grok Image Quality takes longer but produces higher-fidelity results. Use the fast tier while tuning your prompt, then switch to Quality for the final render.

Grok Image is available on PlugNode's Image node. Select Grok Image or Grok Image Quality from the dropdown, paste your xAI API key in Settings, and run.
