What it is

Lyria 3 Pro is Google's music generation model, available through the Gemini API as a preview. It creates original music tracks from text descriptions, with control over genre, mood, tempo, and instrumentation. On PlugNode, Lyria 3 Pro is available on the Music node. Select it from the model dropdown, write a description of the track you want, and the node returns an audio file. It shares the same Gemini API key as Veo, Nano Banana, and Gemini Text nodes, so a single credential powers an entire media pipeline. The Music node also offers Lyria 3 Clip for shorter musical segments and ElevenLabs Music v1 as an alternative provider.

Music generation with one API key

Lyria 3 Pro runs on the same Gemini API credential as Veo, Nano Banana, Gemini Text, and Gemini TTS. If you already have a Gemini key set in PlugNode Settings for video or image generation, music generation works immediately with no additional setup. This makes it the path-of-least-resistance option for adding original soundtracks to existing Google-model pipelines.

Describe the music you want in plain text: "ambient electronic, 120 BPM, synth pads and soft percussion, calm mood." The Music node returns an audio file. Wire it alongside a Video node and your flow produces scored footage in one run.

Lyria 3 Pro vs Eleven Music v1

Both are available on the Music node dropdown. Lyria 3 Pro shares the Gemini credential with the rest of your Google pipeline. ElevenLabs Music v1 requires a separate ElevenLabs API key but may produce different stylistic results. If your flow already uses ElevenLabs for voiceover (Eleven v3), adding Eleven Music v1 keeps your audio stack on one provider. If your flow is all-Google (Gemini Text, Veo, Nano Banana), Lyria 3 Pro keeps everything on one key. Either way, switching is a dropdown change.

Lyria 3 Pro is available on PlugNode's Music node. Select it from the model dropdown. It uses the same Gemini API key as your Text, Image, Video, and Audio nodes, so no additional credential setup is needed.
